Masters of the grill, Chef Sean Connolly and Executive Chef James Laird know a thing or two about a great steak. Fuelled by Sean’s passion for sourcing the world’s best beef, Esther has curated a menu that's a carnivore's paradise, available exclusively on Tuesday nights.
Start the journey with Sean’s iconic steak tartare, followed by Lake Ohau wagyu sirloin drizzled in red wine jus, accompanied by our famous duck fat roast potatoes and grandma's carrots. For dessert, a luscious cherry galette paired with velvety crème fraîche.
To take your steak experience to the next level, we suggest pairing it with a bold Cabernet Sauvignon or a smooth Shiraz—wines that bring out the rich flavors of the wagyu and complement the savory red wine jus. For a fruitier finish, a Malbec or Merlot is the perfect choice, offering a round, balanced contrast to the dish. Every sip enhances the indulgence of every bite.
